Donations

Community Library welcomes donations throughout the year. In order to meet our collection standards, we do not accept the following items.

• Reader's Digest condensed books
• Textbooks
• Magazines
• Paperback and nonfiction books more than 10 years old

When a donation is made, we will do one of the following.

• Add the item to our collection when appropriate
• Give the item to the Friends of the Library for a book sale
• Dispose of the item if its condition so warrants

Please note, our staff members are not qualified appraisers; receipts can only be issued for the number of items donated, not for their worth.

Memorials

Give the gift of a book for memorial, as a special tribute, for birthdays, or for class or corporate gifts. Visit any of our locations to pick up a form.
