2026 Book Bingo Reading Challenge

Looking to get out of your reading comfort zone this year? Our new Book Bingo Reading Challenge is a year-long, self-directed reading challenge for adults aged 19+ with opportunities to win prizes. Each square represents a different category chosen by library staff. Mark off a square as you read throughout the year. When you earn a bingo, bring your card into the library and receive a prize. Complete a blackout on your card by the end of the year and you’ll be entered to win the grand prize!

· Books must be read between March 2 - December 30, 2026.

· Reading in any format counts (book, ebook, audiobook, etc.).

· Books may be used to cover more than one square.

· To earn bingo, complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line.

Return your blackout bingo sheet by January 9, 2027 to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Cards may be returned in person, by mail, or by emailing a photo of your completed card to info@communitylib.org.

Create and Meditate: A Guided Creative Break

This is a peaceful, low-pressure series of programs that blends mindfulness and creativity. Each session begins with a short guided meditation to help participants relax and clear their minds, followed by a simple hands-on art or craft activity designed to be soothing rather than skill-based. This series is about process, not perfection - an opportunity to unplug, breathe, and enjoy creating in a calm, welcoming environment.
