Pastries and Poetry Around the World Presented by Stavroula Harissis, a multilingual poet and librarian with a passion for international travel. Experience a fusion of flavors and creativity at this special event. Savor pastries from various countries, each offering a taste of a different culture while exploring poems by international poets. Engage in thought-provoking discussions, and then channel your own inspiration to write a poem. Pastries may contain wheat, milk, nuts and other common allergens. The Salem Library is having another craft supply swap. Donate your craft supplies in usable condition and then visit the swap to pick up new supplies. Please do not donate unusable or opened paint items. Donate items between April 7-17 at either library branch and receive an early bird ticket to return on Friday, April 18 at 10am to get first dibs.
