Turn-around Time
Plan ahead before requesting materials. Delivery time for interlibrary loan depends upon the number of libraries that own the item, their distance from the Community Library, and whether the item is available when the request is received. Although your request might be filled within two weeks, it can take four weeks or longer to search, process, and obtain an item.
We will notify by you email or letter if your item cannot be borrowed from another library.
Notification
When your item arrives, we will notify you by phone, email, or postcard.
Fines
Overdue items will be charged $1.00 per day for each day the item is late. Please return interlibrary loan materials promptly. Late return jeopardizes Community Library’s ability to borrow from other libraries in the future.
