Paws to Read

Kids can build their reading confidence by reading to a therapy dog. Reading slots are 10 minutes and are on a first come, first served basis. Registration is not required.

LEGO Club
Ages 6-11

We provide the LEGOs, you provide the creativity. Each month, we’ll have a LEGO challenge where your creations will be on display in the library. Please do not bring LEGOs from home.

Movie and Popcorn
Ages 8-Adult

Join us to watch the movie Elf and enjoy popcorn.

Readers Theater

Ages 6-11

Come and practice reading aloud and perform a variety of short skits. Learn to read lines with expression, gestures, theater volume and fluency. Memorization is not required. Parents can attend the last 10 minutes to watch the performance.

Book Drop Science
Ages 5-8

Funded by the National Science Foundation, Book Drop is a free STEM storytime series from Twin Cities PBS and STAR Library Network (STAR Net). Book Drop is designed for kids ages 4-8 and their parents/caregivers, combining hands-on science and storytelling to inspire curiosity, connection, and a love of learning.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are Coming to the Library!
All ages

Santa and Mrs. Claus will share a holiday story followed by an opportunity to have a picture taken with them. Attendees will also write a letter to Santa and make a craft. To assure seating, please register for all attendees.
